THE HOLIDAYS 2012

We want to say thank you to all of our partners who did such great things for families in need in our South Florida community this holiday season! 

Over 1,500 toys were donated as a part of Operation Elf!
377 families were adopted through the Adopt-A-Family 4 The Holidays Website!
Nearly 1,000 families and over 14,000 people were helped for the holidays through this program thanks to the generosity and caring of our South Florida Community!
Approximately 4,400 individuals helped families in need using their, time, talents and treasures this year!

“Very rewarding. When I approached my extended family they welcomed the opportunity to help someone without a second thought!!!! It was very gratifying to see how much "stuff' we accumulated to give this family. We wanted to overwhelm them with gifts, and i feel we did make a good impression and hopefully a nice memory that there are people out there who care. One of my co-workers jumped into the project and brought stuff for the children and mom, it was a total surprise that she did that. There are a lot of good people in the world. It was truly a Christmas spirit experience!!!!!!!”- Adopter

“Yes [we plan on keeping in touch with the family.] We have already pariticipated in Stephanie's 10th birthday. provided her with a Barbie Doll house, a Ken & Barbie jeep and a birthday cake. 	Thank you to MasTec for donating $4,000 in Winn-Dixie gift certificates to help serve families in need this holiday season.			Thank you to Actors Playhouse at the Miracle Theater for holding a toy drive at their location and encouraging donors by giving them free Flexible Anytime Tickets!
	Thank you to All My Sons Moving & Storage for donating $3,000 in canned goods to Western High School for the Harvest Food Drive!			Thank you to Gavilon for sponsoring the Thanksgiving Luncheon at the Homestead YMCA Family Center’s Preschool!
	Thank you to Red Lobster for donating 40 Thanksgiving Baskets to help those less fortunate for the Thanksgiving holiday.			Thank you to the Panthers for holding an exciting toy drive for families in need in our South Florida community as a part of Operation Elf!
