ADOPT A FAMILY
For the past 34 years, the Neighbors 4 Neighbors' Adopt A Family 4 the Holidays Program has been a cherished tradition in South Florida, marking the highlight of the season!
Neighbors 4 Neighbors collaborates with over 40 local non-profit partners to support the families enrolled in our program. Together, we create a one-of-a-kind holiday gift-giving experience.
What sets our program apart is the personal connection you get to establish with the family or families you choose to adopt. You have the opportunity to meet them in person and personally deliver the gifts!
By working alongside our non-profit partners, you can rest assured that your assistance will provide these families with a holiday experience they might not have otherwise. It's a chance to bring joy not only to them but also to yourself.
And last year, our community made history. In a powerful sign of hope, every single family in our Adopt-A-Family program was adopted, 485 families and 1,851 individuals total, something we haven't seen in over six years.
Our collective impact is truly remarkable, and this year, we want to go even further. Will you help us adopt every family again in 2026?
Here's how it all works:
- REGISTER: Click the button above to Register to Adopt. Then, browse through family profiles to select one or more families to adopt 4 the Holidays. You can search for families by zip code, family size, non-profit agency, or family special needs.
- ADOPT: Once you select your family to ADOPT, the family's caseworker will contact YOU and share the family's gift list, as well as provide their contact information.
- GIFT: Then, YOU can purchase gifts for the chosen family and coordinate with them and their caseworker to deliver gifts! The uniqueness of the Adopt A Family Program is that you can meet the family you adopted in person!

OPERATION ELF
Not everyone can adopt a family this holiday season, and that's okay!
That's where Operation Elf comes in! Through this program, we collect monetary donations that go directly toward purchasing gift cards for families who can't be matched through our one-on-one Adopt A Family program.
Working hand-in-hand with our incredible partner agencies, we identify the families facing the greatest need this season. Together, we make sure they experience the magic of the holidays, because every family deserves a little joy.
Every dollar makes a difference. Whether it's $10 or $100, your gift helps bring warmth, hope, and holiday cheer to a family who needs it most.

TOY DRIVE
Neighbors 4 Neighbors is thrilled to kick off our Annual Toy Drive a fantastic part of our Annual Adopt A Family 4 The Holidays Program. It’s a simple way to help bring joy to kids in South Florida this Holiday Season.
This year will be even more special as we team up with Suits, Stilettos and Lipstick Foundation who has been collecting and distributing toys for 25 years! This year we will be working with them to collect over 10,000 toys for Title 1 Elementary Schools in Broward County.
Also, assisting us this year is Morning Day Community Solutions, who is helping to boost our collection power by leveraging donations from Major retailers, saving us from buying gifts and helping to serve even more deserving children.
Donation sites will be announced soon, but until then, you can make a donation and we will purchase toys on your behalf.
