At Neighbors 4 Neighbors, we believe something as simple as a pair of shoes can change the way someone shows up in the world. That belief is at the heart of our reimagined Shoes 4 Neighbors initiative, a community-powered effort designed to meet people where they are and help them take their next step forward with dignity and confidence.
Shoes are more than an accessory. They are essential for school, work, job interviews, daily errands, and overall well-being. Yet for many individuals and families in our community, safe, properly fitting footwear is out of reach. This reimagined Shoe Drive expands our impact beyond a one-time collection, allowing us to respond to real needs across all ages, seasons, and circumstances.
Official Kickoff: March 15th
We are proud to officially kick off Shoes 4 Neighbors on March 15, in recognition of National Shoe the World Day, which raises awareness about the lack of access to proper footwear for over 500 million people worldwide.
Drop-off locations and community partners will be announced at kickoff, making it easy for neighbors, businesses, and organizations to get involved.
Early Donations Welcome
Can’t wait until kickoff? Neither can we!
Early donations are already being accepted, helping us get a head start on supporting neighbors in need. Financial contributions allow us to purchase new shoes directly for individuals and families when and where they’re needed most, ensuring the right size, the right style, and the right moment.
Whether you give early, donate later, or help spread the word, every step you take helps a neighbor walk forward with confidence.
Together, we’re proving that helping feels good, and it starts from the ground up.

Donate to Shoes 4 Neighbors
The Lexus Corporate Run is back in South Florida, bringing thousands of professionals together for an evening of teamwork, wellness, and community spirit. Often called “South Florida’s Largest Office Party,” this popular 5K run/walk invites coworkers from across the region to lace up their sneakers and celebrate company pride while enjoying a fun and energizing event.
This year, the run will take place at the following dates and locations:

Fort Lauderdale on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 6:45 PM at Esplanade Park

Downtown Miami on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 6:45 PM at Bayfront Park
Both events welcome teams from businesses, nonprofits, and organizations across South Florida to run or walk together in a 3.1-mile course.
Neighbors 4 Neighbors will be there too! Be sure to stop by the Neighbors 4 Neighbors tent, where we’ll have collection bins for our Shoes 4 Neighbors Shoe Drive. If you’re coming out to participate or cheer on your team, consider bringing new or gently used shoes to donate and help neighbors across South Florida step forward with confidence.
